Andre Dahan




Andre was born in St. Eugene, Nigeria in 1935.
He studied painting at the Paris School of Art Trades and graduated.
After working as an art director at a French advertising agency, he went independent. As an illustrator, he took on various projects in major French magazines, advertising campaigns, and more. Among his notable clients were major brands like Olympic Airways, Renault, Citroën, and Nescafé. Andre also worked on a wide range of international projects, including German television animation and Japanese commercials for Calpis, Yamai Securities, House Foods, Tokyu Construction, Snow Brand, and SS Pharmaceuticals, to name a few.

Andre Dahan is well-known for his heartwarming character creations, combining grace and innocence. He is renowned as both a children's book author and an illustrator, having received numerous international awards and honors.
