Guide
Many Japanese corporations are keen on using outstanding foreign
artists for their advertising and promotional projects.
However, they are reluctant to do so due primarily to the time difference and
language barrier.
To overcome these problems and to lend a helping hand to these corporations,
we at ICO have developed the concept of an international art agency and established
an international art agency (IAA) index site.
In addition to applications in the Japanese market, this index site can be utilized
for striking business deals for your artists worldwide.
By registering with ICO you have access to this index site for promoting the
artwork of your clients/artists in your area as well as in the Japanese and
other foreign markets.
IAA Registration Procedure:
1. IAA registration is free. Upon completing the registration, you will become an IAA member. .
2. Provide your company identification materials needed for preparation of your website and index
a) Official name/company name < /one_world/AA/agencies_list/japan/index.html
> |
3. Prospective clients will go directly to your index by clicking your website icon.
4. With respect to dealing with Japanese clients, ICO Japan will assist you in coordinating and facilitating your business transactions in Japan.
5. When a Japanese corporation requests a foreign artist from the IAA System, ICO will handle all communications necessary for a successful deal.
ICO will add a coordination service fee on top of your submitted assignment fee to the client. (Please refer to the ICO International Art Coordination System for further details.)
By choosing this innovative IAA System for promoting your business, you will realize growth in potential markets and expand business opportunities for your artists.
Guide to ICO's International Art Coordination SystemMany Japanese corporations are hesitant to utilize the artwork by foreign artists due primarily to the time difference, language barrier and cultural differences.
ICO has developed and established IAA to overcome these problems and lend a helping hand. Simply placing a website with IAA may not be enough to promote your business.
You need ICO's assistance in facilitating your business transactions in Japan. Japanese clients will use the IAA System, select a foreign artist of their choice, and contact ICO for coordination and facilitation.
From this starting point ICO will be fully involved for completion of a successful assignment on behalf of you and the Japanese client.
