Robert Ross (USA)

Robert grew up in the old whaling town of Cold Spring Harbor, New York, and has been drawing since he was old enough to hold a pencil.
He went on to study painting at The Rhode Island School of Design.
His works have garnered him many distinguished awards including, The New York Heckscher Museum Award.
Mr. Roth has illustrated 8 books for children and his paintings have been displayed in NYC. 
His works are in the permanent collections of many fortune 500 corporations.
The New York Times Book Review said, "Roth's paintings are a visual treat".

ロバート・ロス/Robert Roth　(アメリカ/1965年〜)

ロバートは、古くから捕鯨の町として知られるニューヨーク州、コールド・スプリング・ハーバーで生まれ育ちました。
彼は、鉛筆が握れる充分な年令に成長してから現在まで、ず〜っと描き続けて来ています。
ロブ・ロスはロードアイランド・スクール・オブ・デザインに通い、そこで絵画を学びました。

彼の作品は、ザ・ニューヨーク・ヘクスキュアー・ミュージアム賞を含め、沢山の立派な賞を彼にもたらせました。
また彼はこども達のために、8冊のイラストも手掛けています。そして彼の絵画の数々は、ニューヨーク市に展示されました。

ロブの絵画は、沢山の会社で構成される企業団体 "フォーチュン・500" に永久保存されています。
ニューヨーク・タイムスのブック・レビュー曰く、「ロスの絵画はビジュアルなご馳走である」。
